Lenka Kripac (born March 19, 1978, age 34 years) is an Australian singer. He is known in the music world with the name Lenka. He became an Australian singer-songwriter, known for her song "The Show" from Lenka album in advertisements, including Old Navy. previously known in Australia as an actress, she has appeared in Australian television series and films.

Personal life

The daughter of a jazz musician father who immigrated to Australia from then-Czechoslovakia and teacher Australia, Lenka was born and raised in "the bush", until age seven when her family moved to Sydney, where he received musical training and education, and began working as a musician.

Acting

 As a teenager Lenka studied acting at the Australian Theatre for Young People, where she trained with actress Cate Blanchett at the school. Lenka starred in the Australian ABC TV drama series GP as Vesna Kapek in the 1990s. She also hosted Cheez TV and guest starred in the TV series Australia include as Home And Away, Wild Side, Head Start, and Spellbinder. Decoder Ring
As Kripac Lenka, she was a member of the Australian electronic-rock crossover band, Decoder Ring for two of their albums. He then moved to California in 2007.

Solo career

 After adopting her first name as sole artistic name ("Lenka" is a common Slavic girl's name, and a small common Slavic girl name "Elena"), Lenka released her debut album on September 24, 2008, with "The Show" chose to to release the first single from the set. The album peaked at number 142 on the U.S. Billboard 200.

Lenka creates paper art type of stop-motion animated music video for each of her singles with James Gulliver Hancock, a visual artist from Australia. The emergence of small children for all music video done intentionally by the duo. Her vocal stylings are the juxtaposition of pop and layered, complicated influences.

She provided vocals on two tracks ("Addicted" and "Sunrise") on German artist Schiller album's Atemlos, was released in Germany on March 12, 2010.
